Gigi was surprised to see Ryan at her doorstep in California. "What are you doing here?" she asked, giving him a warm hug. "I had a layover in LA and thought of dropping by to see you." Ryan replied with a smile. Gigi invited him in and they caught up over a cup of coffee. Ryan noticed how exhausted Gigi looked and asked her about her work. Gigi told him about her job at Panella and how she was feeling unfulfilled. Ryan listened patiently and then said, "You know, I might have a solution to your problem." Gigi looked at him with a mix of curiosity and confusion. "What do you mean?" she asked. Ryan told her about a job opening at Osteria Francescana, one of the best restaurants in the world. "The chef, Massimo Bottura, is looking for a pastry chef and I thought of you. You've got the talent and the passion for it." Gigi's eyes widened in disbelief. She had heard of Osteria Francescana but never thought she would have a chance to work there. "But Ryan, I don't have enough experience. I've only worked at Panella for a year." Gigi said, feeling unsure. "That's where I come in." Ryan said with a grin. "I can recommend you to Massimo. He's a friend of mine." Gigi couldn't believe her luck. This was the opportunity she had been waiting for. "Thank you so much Ryan. I don't know how to repay you." Gigi said, feeling grateful. "Just promise me one thing." Ryan said, looking at her with a serious expression. "Don't forget who you are and what you stand for. Don't let anyone else's dreams or expectations define you. You're your own person." Gigi nodded, feeling a sense of empowerment. She knew that this was the beginning of a new chapter in her life. With Ryan's help, she applied for the job at Osteria Francescana and went through a rigorous interview process. To her surprise, she got the job. Gigi couldn't believe it. She was going to work at one of the best restaurants in the world. She packed her bags and moved to Modena, Italy. Working at Osteria Francescana was a dream come true for Gigi. She learned so much from Massimo and the other chefs there. She pushed herself to the limit and created some of the best desserts of her life. Gigi knew that this was just the beginning of her journey in the culinary industry. She was grateful for all the experiences she had so far and the people who had helped her along the way. But most of all, she was grateful for Ryan, her friend who had believed in her and given her the opportunity of a lifetime.
